Principal

Sherman has over 20 years of experience providing expert marketing strategies, solutions & projects to leading tech companies.  A passionate marketer who puts the customer first, Sherman has helped start-ups and large companies Get Big Fast through innovative, impactful, fast moving approaches that move the needle.

 

An avid user of new consumer technology, Sherman led Amazon Kindle’s advertising and marketing programs, helping drive success of a new way to read.  Sherman’s twelve years at Amazon also saw him start and lead Amazon Prime Video’s marketing team and Alexa voice service marketing efforts to drive penetration of Alexa deeper into consumer’s lives.  He helped propel Amazon Business, Amazon's B2B marketplace and corporate purchasing solution, to a multi-billion dollar business.  Prior to Amazon he led marketing and product management at Pure Networks, an early home networking software company successfully acquired by Cisco.  At RealNetworks he led B2B broadband strategies and launched Helix, the company’s open-source audio and video platform.  His other experience includes AT&T Internet Services, where he drove early penetration and retention of subscription internet services.  Sherman also has experience in business development and sales, focusing on technology licensing and distribution of consumer subscription services.

 

Throughout his career, Sherman has focused on creating programs that scale, communications that impact, and customer-focused tactics that help products and companies Get Big Fast.
